With its shallow, calm waters, Turks and Caicos is the perfect destination for families with small children.  The island is not crowded, safe, and has plenty of family friendly places to eat.

If you are looking for a place to stay that is family friendly, your choices are many and really depend on what you are looking for.  If you want a resort with plenty of activities including a water park, you will likely enjoy Beaches.  The only thing to note about Beaches is that it is all-inclusive so it is a bit more expensive.  But there is plenty to do at Beaches for kids of all ages.

If all-inclusive is not your thing, Seven Stars, Regent Palms, and Grace Bay Club are all family friendly.  Seven Stars has slightly better location in terms of local restaurants and shopping within walking distance.  Grace Bay Club and Regent Palms are not far from these things either although probably not in walking distance like Seven Stars.  Grace Bay Club does have a separate family pool specifically for kids and families.  Family friendly restaurants are near by these resorts  including a good pizza place and a small ice cream shop.

While the last three resorts mentioned do not have a waterpark, they do have great stretches of beach and plenty of water activities, floaties, life vests and more.  The water is calm on Grace Bay and pretty shallow close to shore.  The clear water is easy to see through as well in case there is any marine life nearby.  You will likely see Jo Jo the Dolphin playing just outside the swimming areas along the beach during your stay.

If you do not want to stay at a resort, there are plenty of villas on the island that offer plenty of space, bedrooms, and privacy.

Turks and Caicos is very family friendly.  Bring your kids and enjoy the beaches, pools, great food, and family fun.
