If you are looking for a fun island event on Provo, look no further than the Thursday night fish fry in Bight Park. This night is full of local food, local entertainment, great music, and local vendors. Not only will you be able to fill up on some of the best fresh food and drink on the island, you can take in some local culture as well.
As the sun goes down over Turks and Caicos, both locals and visitors alike attend the local fish fry for fun and entertainment. This fish fry brings in vendors from all over the island. There are usually over twelve tents set up from some of the islands best restaurants. Then as the sun goes down a local band begins to play music and the real party starts. The night ends with the local dance and entertainment of the Junkanoo Band that should not be missed.
All of this goes on in Bight Park which is located off of Lower Bight Road in Provo. Of course you are a stones through from beautiful Grace Bay Beach. Nearby resorts include Gansevoort, West Bay Club, and Coral Gardens.
Our best advice is to get there a little early as the tables and chairs fill up quickly. Or if you are planning on staying late, you can just stand, dance, and walk around. The fresh fish. Conch fritters, jerk chicken and grilled lobster (when in season) are wonderful at this island event.
