Things To Do
If you are looking for a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean, Turks and Caicos is a wonderful destination. There are plenty of other things to do for the adventurers out there as well. Below we will detail some of the many things you can do on Turks and Caicos.
If you are going to Turks and Caicos and are not thinking about the beach, you are probably going to the wrong place. The best thing to do in Turks and Caicos is go to the beach. Turks and Caicos has some of the best beaches in the world. Grace Bay Beach is commonly known as one of the top three beaches in the world with over 12 miles of sugary white sand and turquoise ocean waters.
But if you are dreaming of sitting under an umbrella with a cold beverage nearby and want to enjoy the best beaches in the world, you have found the right place. The beaches on Turks and Caicos are stunning.
Located on the southwest portion of Provo, Chalk Sound is 3 miles of the most beautiful electric blue water that you will see anywhere. It is a one of a kind, unique view that you will never forget.
Chalk Sound is a national park on Provo, Turks and Caicos. The inland lagoon is calm, pristine, and awe inspiring. Go see it. You will be glad you did. You can even take a boat tour of Chalk Sound if you really love it. If you love it even more you can rent a villa here and take in the breathtaking views daily.
Turks and Caicos are filled with exceptional restaurants. One restaurant that stands out is Coyaba. Dining at Coyaba is an experience, not just a meal. Coyaba is fine dining so be prepared to spend a little money. But if you are on vacation and you want to make memories, Coyaba is a place for that unforgettable dining experience. It is wonderful.
Hint: Try the seafood bisque. Then thank us later.
There are plenty of opportunities to snorkel right off the beach at Grace Bay. Better snorkeling can be found in Smith’s Reef or if you can make it to Taylor Bay. Or you can have an even better time if you take a half day or day snorkeling cruise. Either way it is worth getting out and seeing the marine life that surrounds Turks and Caicos.

If you are feeling a bit adventurous, paddle boarding around the beach is a fun way to enjoy the water and see some of the marine life. Most resorts along Grace Bay offer paddle boarding along the beach. It is easy to do and a lot of fun.

Scuba diving is popular all over the Turks and Caicos islands. The third largest coral reef in the world protects the islands from the Atlantic Ocean. There are a number of popular diving operations on the islands including Dive Provo and Caicos Adventures. Both of these diving operators are in Provo and very easy to use.
You will enjoy exploring the coral reefs around Grace Bay and Pine Cay as well as West Caicos, French Cay and Northwest Point. You will likely see incredible marine life including sharks, horse-eyed jacks, turtles, dolphins, spotted eagle rays, eels, and many other fish.
